Who it's for

Built for the counter, not the head office.

Brella is used by cafes, restaurants, retail stores and market stalls across the Philippines and Australia. The register is the same everywhere; what changes is which parts of it a venue leans on.

Cafes & milk tea

Recipe costing for every add-on and sinker.

A milk tea order is never just a drink: it is a base, a milk ratio, a sweetness level and a handful of toppings, each with its own cost. Brella prices and depletes stock for every combination the same way it does a plain espresso.

  • Modifiers and add-ons pull their own ingredients from stock, so a pearl or a sinker is costed, not just upsold.
  • Queue-time speed on a tablet till, with offline selling for when the venue's Wi-Fi drops during the afternoon rush.
  • Margin per drink, not just revenue, so the loss-leader promo is a decision, not a surprise at month end.

Restaurants & dine-in

Table numbers, split bills, one shift record.

Dine-in service means bills that get split three ways, staff discounts on a manager's say-so, and a table that turns twice before close. Brella records all of it against the shift it happened on, without a separate float or receipt book.

  • Table numbers stay on the order from seating to payment, so a split at the end is a few taps, not a recount.
  • Discounts and voids need the right role, so a comp on a table is visible at cash-up, not discovered there.
  • Refunds and voids are itemised on the Z-report, not netted away into gross sales.

Retail & groceries

Barcode the shelf, not the spreadsheet.

A grocery or a retail floor lives or dies on stock accuracy across hundreds of SKUs and, often, more than one branch. Brella scans a barcode at the till and moves the same item out of the same branch's stock, every time.

  • Stock is tracked per branch, so a transfer between stores is a recorded movement, not a guess at what is actually on the shelf.
  • Low-stock and reorder alerts fire before a fast-moving line goes to zero, with a purchase order ready to send to the supplier.
  • Bulk upload for the initial catalogue, then a stock ledger for every count and adjustment after that.

Sari-sari & market stalls

One till, no cut of your sales, still works when the signal drops.

A sari-sari store or a market stall does not need branches, shifts or a Windows install: it needs a fast till that keeps ringing up sales when the mobile signal is patchy, and a flat monthly cost instead of a percentage of every sale.

  • The Starter plan runs a single till with the same recipe-based stock tracking as the larger plans, priced for a small daily basket.
  • Offline selling means a sari-sari store on a shared load connection never stops selling because of a dropped signal.
  • No transaction fee and no cut of sales, so growing revenue does not grow the cost of the till that rang it up.
